BOOKERTITE
Certain aspects of booker t have well prepared me for a career in the arts if I choose to go for it. Many of the teachers have valid life experience in areas that the students aspire to go in to. Close bonds with the teachers have allowed us to share their wisdom and get a glimpse of the bright lights. Fellow students have shown me how cut throat the field of arts is and what lengths people will go to succeed. I know what you have to do and know to navigate the social circles without getting torn about. A comprehensive, if chaotic, curriculum has built in an ability to deal with excessive stress and work on art into the wee morn. Overall, it has been a good way to learn about the professional art world and the rigors involved. Unfortunately I plan to attend Seattle University and try for an engineering degree and make my way in the science field.

I received feedback from several college representatives and people hosting workshops that was helpful and productive. Multiple people commented on the quality of my line work and compared it to various random artists that I found flattering. Others enjoyed the imaginative aspects of my 2-D pieces and made comments on those parts. The LCAD representative really liked the quality and emotive aspects of my works and told me that he thought my portfolio was really interesting, however he thought I should put stronger figure drawing pieces into my portfolio. Most of the people I talked to thought that I should apply to their schools.

Life after Highschool
I definitely feel like I am at a level where I will be able to effectively manage my time for all of my school responsibilities as well as utilize my extra-curricular free time in a satisfying manner. I feel that I will be able to grow and learn in a new, more meaningful climate.
